Nice to virtually meet you! Here's what you need to know about me.

“It is far, far more important to be a dreamer, to have dreams and goals, to have plans for a better future, to be a positive light in people’s lives . . . [than to] settle for the ordinary, the mundane . . .” – Ian Smith

My professional career has spanned over two decades, and in that time, I have managed a successful real estate business, lost nearly everything, and then rebuilt myself again, obtaining an MBA and jumping into a great 16-year run in electronics and industrial manufacturing leadership roles.

Over that same time, I have been blessed to help raise seven amazing children, moved to Mexico for a very short time to learn Spanish, jumped from an airplane, and have been fortunate enough to travel across a good portion of this truly amazing world we call home. I find joy in the little things but also don’t mind going big at times either. I love a variety of music and sports and usually prefer non-fiction over fiction.

In all, I have had the most amazing life. I remember clearly what it’s like to be at the bottom. I know how it feels to overcome the shame of failure. I know that experience is a really great teacher, and I know what it feels like to start over. I also know what it feels like to set hard goals and succeed. We have one life to live, and it’s too short to get wrapped up in self-pity or regret.

Today, as a Career Ownership Coach®, I help individuals who are seeking greater control over their future explore new possibilities beyond traditional employment. Through a personalized coaching process, I help clients clarify their goals around income, lifestyle, wealth, and equity, evaluate business ownership opportunities that align with those goals, and make informed decisions about their next chapter. My role isn’t to tell people what to do—it’s to help them discover what is truly possible and provide the guidance, resources, and support needed to move forward with confidence.

“I started with just me and one truck, working out of my garage. I now have four employees, and I am in a commercial space. The earnings potential is pretty well limitless at this point. I am busy. I do have to spend time away from my family just as I did before. But now, if I want to stay home and cook my kids breakfast, I can. On nice sunny days, if I want to cut out early to take the kids swimming, I do. I don’t just have weekends to choose from anymore.”

BRANDEN BOWDEN, New Business Owner
